Children's books by J.S. Morelock

Porte La Foret  Rouge

Through the Red Forest Door resulted from the discovery of the tattered bits and pieces of "Travels to the Kiwhut Lands" which was  un-buried by an itinerant photographer whilst walking the Canterbury Alps, above the ancient city of Timaru.   The  Book  was  translated  from the ancient to the modern through the courtesy of the New Zealand Forensic Society.  This  visual  interpretation  is  attempted as a guide to the better understanding of the Mystical Land of the Kiwhut.

The artist  bears  no  responsibility  for  anything  whatsoever:   Any  connection  to  reality is  unintentional, and purely coincidental.

Tiptoe Thru The Grumlups

Whimsical's the word for the odd collection of characters who inhabit this stroll through the imagination.  Great as a bedtime read for the kids, it also charms adult readers with the unexpected visual surprises to be found in the author's illustrative technique.  Not unlike Lewis Carroll's 'Jabberwocky, it is an amusement--but for the eyes as much as for the delightful story.  An engaging little tale, 'Tiptoe Thru the Grumlups' belongs on every child's nightstand and will be read again and again.  Available in hardcover or Ebook at Blurb.com
