Art Serene is about   J.S. "Jer" Morelock,

                                                                             and the curious things that go on inside his head.

 

     After several decades of photographing toasters, ceiling fans, and three-handed industrial widgets 

      he decided his imagination was  a  lot more exciting  than what he was seeing  through the viewfinder.   Fortunately the arrival of the digital age  provided him a new vocation  that doesn't require slogging about the countrysde lugging a thirty-pound tripod .  Indeed, with sufficient computer power in which to indulge, he took himself to his air-conditioned garret and delved into the  art of  "pixel-bending."

And he's lived happily ever after since.

 

      Unlike traditional oil and canvas, digital painting offers endless venues for exploration.

  It provides the artist the delight of discovery while bending, warping, stretching and

   dissolving images in a medium that evolves as it continues to excite the imagination. 

   

"Elasticity 101" provides  an interior decorator solutions to the challenge of filling awkward spaces

created by the constraints  of architecture.  

 

ArtSerene offers answers to the perplexing difficulties of fitting existing space to art

-- and conversely, fitting art to the space --

without regard to height, width, color or spatial configuration.
